The Tucktec Foldable Kayak is made out of durable plastic that will not tear or puncture. All fold lines are reinforced to last for thousands of folds. It can take the same abuse as a standard hard shell kayak.

The first couple of times may take you 15 minutes, but after familiarizing yourself, you should be able to assemble it in 2 minutes or less!

This kayak is perfect for flat-water conditions in lakes, ponds, bays, and inlets. They also perform well on rivers and creeks up to class 2. They are not recommended for whitewater, beach waves, or very heavy chop.

Yes there is room for a child or dog. To maintain stability, ensure they remain still inside the kayak.

There are no open seams below the top level of the kayak. Each fold is a "Z" pattern that folds in on itself. There is nothing to seal; it is one single flat sheet of durable plastic.
